A merry party of Christmas elves arrived at Tesco ready to again help collect donations for York Foodbank. We rotated a variety of tasks from handing out shopping lists, collecting money, fetching food from the donation box and packing donations into crates.

Loads of loads of donations we're given by the kind people of York, and we soon had huge towers of supplies surrounding us.

We also had a brief excursion to be instructed in the Ways of the Litter Picker and collect our very own pickers from York Council for future missions.

As Tim posed for the obligatory lunge photo, Alan from Trussell Trust asked "what's with the lunges?" and we had to then explain the Ways of Egg. He also seemed quite keen on trying running and joining us sometime too :-)

Eventually some of the elves went on their merry ways and a couple of us carried on for the next session..
