Bamboozled

Last night GoodGym Hounslow was back at our regular task helping out Cultivate London with some much needed watering and an ambitious but ultimately successful job putting up an amazing bamboo fence!

We started off with a hot and sticky run to the beautiful nursery site (with its very tempting cool watering system), one of the HQs of this social enterprise which works to improve health and wellbeing across London by encouraging and supporting local communities to engage with their green spaces.

While Luis manned the hosepipe giving the industrial trail flowerbeds and trees a much-needed watering ahead of the heatwave, the rest of the team began creating a lovely bamboo fence for an area at the local school. The result was very impressive in such a short amount of time!

Next week we're off to a local school to help shovel woodchip in the secret garden. We also have an upcoming mission helping to clear leaves - until then, happy GGing!
