Mission

Bagged us a rosey mission

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Newcastle.

Good Gym Newcastle’s second group mission saw us return to continue the epic work started on our first one!

After a little clear up in the front garden we ‘flew’ round to the back garden ‘landing’ smoothly to continue to add some Good Gym sparkle. Armed and dangerous with tools at the ready to show the weeds exactly who was in control!

Emily made an awesome job at the very back of the garden with clippers in hand, cutting back, clearing, sweeping and tidying up the beautiful rose’s, total transformation, whole area is totally accessible now!

Carol Anne got busy with the hedge trimmer (again) and hand saw, cutting back, shaping and clearing which led to the discovery of a pathway to the rear of the garden where Emily was working hard.

Lawn cut, rest of the pathways cleared of grass cuttings and weeds, all bagged (27 in total now) and ready for collection and thankfully all before the heavens opened!

A perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon helping such a deserving lovely lady!
