Three GoodGymers met on a sunny Saturday morning to help Mrs R out with her garden.

She used to manage her lovely back garden herself and had planted some beautiful flowers - including the most incredible fuschias I've ever seen - but after a fall she hasn't been able to look after the garden easily. Lucy, Anne and Eva went round to help tidy it up for her to get it looking as good as it used to.

The trio started off by weeding the patio, then Lucy and Eva tidied up the plants and flowers in the garden beds while Anne mowed the lawn. Mrs R joined us outside to give us some instructions and even potter around the garden a bit herself. It was lovely to see that just us being there gave her the confidence to get back out to do what she loved.

To finish Eva got to use a really snazzy garden hoover to clear up any final debris. Anne took all the garden waste out, and after briefly being locked out and having to be rescued by a kindly neighbour, they finished everything up and were on their way. Hope you enjoy your garden Mrs R.
