Woking GG Members take on the deadly Yucca plant.

This week at Woking GG we headed back to Derry fields Allotment. We had warm welcome and headed to our task. We were given a plot to de-weed and tidy. The plot belonged to an elderly woman who has been struggling to keep the plants at bay. She is still pretty active and enjoys her walk down to the allotment with her frame and has a range of vegetables growing. The front of the allotment had become over grown and taken over by weeds. So with forks and wheelbarrows at the ready we took on our task. Before : 100353 After: 100354

After the task we headed back for a gentle jog back, with a new goodgym tomato plant in a bag ready to plant - thanks to the allotment. We wish Anne a wonderful trip to France this week and we look forward to seeing you next week to hear about it. We hope Mark is doing his parents proud and getting rid of those snails in their garden, even if you do think they are cute.

Next Week

We are heading to Brockhill to help out and do some DIY - remember to sign up online.
