I met Huw at Mr J's - this was my third visit and Huw's first mission at someone's home. Unfortunately due to earlier heavy rain and the grass only just starting to grow back after the heat, we didn't get to use Mr J's wonderful battery powered lawnmower - maybe next time! On this visit we started in the front garden, removing weeds, taking out dead heads and getting rid of some of the weeds from inbetween the block paving. Mr J had a chat with us as we worked as the rain had finally stopped.

We moved round to the back garden where I was asked by Mr J to cut one of his rose bushes right back as it had started to grow through the fence into the neighbour's garden. Under his supervision I soon reduced the rose bush to about half it's size but was assured that I hadn't killed it and it would grow back!

Meanwhile, Huw was busy removing the weeds from the paving slabs and before we knew it the green bin was almost full. After Huw got into the bin to squish the weeds down (the only person I know tall enough to actually be able to step into and out of a wheelie bin) we soon filled it to the top and after an hour and a half declared our job done.
