On this lovely Monday afternoon, Dave and I trotted over to Mr B's residence to help prepare his bedroom for a hospital discharge. Trotting here meant cycling for me and a nice run for Dave, which caused us both to arrive more than "warmed up" for the task.

Once we worked out Google Maps' lack of knowledge about the local streets, we met up with a worker from the hospital who let us inside. It didn't take us long to come up with an action plan, and we swiftly starting reducing the bed to it's elementary pieces.

When we got to the bed's frame though, our deconstruction process hit a roadblock! Without the right spanner we couldn't disassemble it and the hallway was looking a bit too narrow for us to squeeze it through. Luckily, as a deus ex machina, we located a small box of tools including the right spanner and a plier. We quickly took the rest of the frame apart, moved it all outside and we were both on our merry way home again.

Thanks to Dave for the title of the report, although I gotta admit, I did have to do a quick search to understand the reference!
