This morning I cycled to Windsor to say hello to Mrs D. I was running late and she fell asleep while waiting for me. I rang the bell a few times and also called her on her landline but no answer. Given her history, I let myself in to check that she was ok. I may have told the story before, the one when she fell and broke her hip and laid down on the floor for hours on end, until her son eventually found her. This time I was happy to find that she was fine, she woke up and we chatted away, as per usual. We revisited a few of her stories, and then the carer also arrived and served Mrs D her Sunday lunch. It was time for me to move on, to my next GG mission.
