Apple-y delivering by pie-cycle 🥧

On a work from home day with no commute, I had plenty of time to squeeze in a quick lunchtime shopping mission for Ms J on two wheels 🚴‍♀️. Handily, when the mission was confirmed I was also sent Ms J's shopping list in advance. So, after donning my red shirt, I headed straight to Tesco. As I gathered together the items on her list, I soon realised that I would be maxing out the £20 limit and may have to forgo an item or two to make sure I didn't overspend. Being as thrifty as possible, I managed to tick off all but one item... sadly, we were just short of enough money for an apple pie. I called Mrs J as I was leaving the supermarket to let her know that I would be with her in about 10 minutes' time, then set off for her flat. Upon arrival I apologised profusely for not being able to bring her some pie - very rarely do northerners fail to deliver pie, so this felt like sacrilege! Ms J thanked me for my help and assured me that it was ok before wishing me a good day as I set off home to get back to work.
