It is so depressing to see so much litter in our communities. The plan today was to get around as many streets in the Anfield area, which are covered in litter. In the end Jo, Rowan,Tim and Mat barely cleared rubbish from one street, but it was an area of bushes and weeds and it was covered with what turned out to be about 10 bags of litter. Sadly stalwart Pauline wasn't feeling well, so it was just the four of us out. Why don't people put rubbish in bins or take it home with them? It would be so easy. All we can do is arrange these Community Missions and hope people start to care for each other and for the place where they live. Until then we are at least able to do our bit.
