Well not quite 500 piles, but there were a LOT of donations at GROAD today after their appeal for clothing for Afghan refugees. We got to work, along with a couple of other volunteers (and a very kind donater-turned-volunteer), sorting the donations into piles for children, men, women and household items and trying to put as much as we could into the shed outside. However there was not enough room, as donations kept flooding in, so a lot was sorted and piled inside on various tables. After 3 hours the hallway was cleared and all donations sorted.
