An InTents Evening

A group of lovely GoodGymmers volunteered to help Get Rid of and Donate prepare some bags of essentials to give out to rough sleepers.

After we arrived, we split into a few teams:

• Team Tents ⛺️ went to figure out which donated tents were fully functioning and which weren't usable by taking them out of their bags and trying to put them up in the community hall
• Team Toiletries 🩹 sorted some bags of toiletries, adding various bits and bobs of first aid items as we went and some additional sanitary products for women
• Team Threads 🧤 sorted piles of donated hats, scarves, and gloves then adding these and the bags of toiletries to suitcases full of clothes, ready to hand out next week.

We'd finished packing the bags after about an hour so went to help Team Tents put the tents away before heading our separate ways for the night
