An abundance of good

Today 6 of us made our way to the corner of Sutton Court Road to help Abundance London to transform a patch of land in need of some TLC. Abundance London are a charity organisation that harvest surplus fruit, plant orchards and hedgerows and reconnect people with nature.

We went back to our grassroots and helped to turn over the top layer of turf in the shape of a windy path. This little area will have wild flowers sown and will eventually resemble the wild flower meadows by Turnham Green, and in many of our local parks.

We were once again worming our way to a good deed, surrounded by tons of earth worms.

We worked at distance alongside Abundance volunteers including our own Amanda, who were over the other side of the urban garden weeding and getting the area prepped for more planting. It provided a much needed and safe way to reconnect and we’re all looking to seeing this little urban garden grow.
