I toyed with the idea of copying and pasting last week's run report here as we returned to the same destination. Eventually, I changed my mind as it would have looked a bit suspicious when I also mentioned some of our crew who were about to embark on a 100-mile race over the weekend. I know these ultra runners are hardcore, but not many people would be tackling two-century races in consecutive weeks. Besides, we made significant progress this week and completed our full two coats of paint, transforming one of the rooms in the labyrinthine Greenleaf Road Baptist Church. Great job, eveyone.

Talking of 100 milestones, we have a pair of runners reach 50 good deeds yesterday. So it's huge congratulations to Ercole and Raymond who between them have now notched up 100 good deeds. Both runners were founder runners at Waltham Forest. Our inaugural run was their first, so it's great to see that in just over a year they have reached such a magnificent milestone. Richly deserved black t-shirts will be wending their way to your letterboxes sometime soon I am sure.

This Sunday morning is our Community Mission (CM) to Jubilee Park Junior Parkrun. Please note that we are meeting at the location, not at Mirth as was initially stated in the mission. Full details and sign-up here

Regardless of whether you can or can't make Sunday's CM, do join us next week for some green-fingered action at everyone's favourite care home George Mason Lodge. This run will also mark the The Great Get Together, an initiative founded by the family and friends of Jo Cox who was killed on 16 June 2016, it was created to reject divisive politics and bring our communities together and celebrate all that unites us. This week all of our GoodGym sessions will be partnered with The Great Get Together so that up and down the country we can use our run to celebrate kindness, respect and all we have in common! #moreincommon
