We had a really lovely morning helping out at Saltwell juniors parkrun in Saltwell Park, Gateshead.

It was lovely to be joined by Anji, Aimee, Debbie and Tanya.

I had a mixture of roles helping with volunteer co-ordinator and first timers briefing (a lot of new parkrunners which was lovely)

I was then on finish tokens with Anji whilst Aimee, Tanya and Debbie were enjoying marshalling and encouraging the runners.

There was almost 70 young parkrunners joining in this morning which was brilliant.

We had a great catch up in the cafe afterwards, where we enjoyed coffees and bacon/sausage sandwiches!
