Mr K needed help to to cut back his overgrown garden which was totally covered in brambles. Thankfully, four hardy Lewisham GoodGymers were definitely up to the job, including Caireen who joined us for her first ever mission!

The mission started with some scary animal-related challenges to overcome, namely SPIDERS in the shed, and VERY BARKY DOGS in the garden next door separated only by a tumbledown brick wall that we watched them push bricks out of, eek!

We spent an intense hour cutting back brambles, digging out weeds, and raking up a huge compost pile! We hope Mr K enjoys his clearer garden when he is well enough to get out and tend to his spring bulbs.
