Across town for Crosslight

Kit, Louis, Jack and I all attended along with more volunteers from Crosslight so the mission was completed pretty rapidly within first 45 minutes as all hands were on deck.

We assisted in clearing the dance floor, setting up the lights, tables,chairs and and the bar. Louis looked very at ease behind the bar and did an excellent job breaking up the ice for the ice buckets to cool the prosecco and setting up glasses etc whilst Kit brought the supplies in from the car.

The Crosslight bunch were very friendly as were the band who had made it into a family affair. Steve (the singer) had his sons and friends there to assist with the set up as well. They even had their grandson practising on the drums at one point.

I didn't stay for the concert but I hear from Jack that goodgym got a shout out from Cindy in the concert break. All the tables were full and everyone had a good time so it was a success.
