Mission

A wheely good deed

3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.

Aimee, Mikey and Rosie ran to Mrs J's house to help her get an electric wheelchair out of a tight cupboard. Mrs J had been stuck in the house for several weeks, having lost her husband and being unable to reach the wheelchair.

With a group effort the wheelchair was soon out in the open and reassembled! Mrs J was thrilled and said she couldn't wait to test it out. She wisely set the speed to 'tortoise' instead of 'hare' for her test-drive, which she'll be taking on Wednesday when her nephew visits.

Mrs J was thrilled to bits and the 3 runners left knowing they'd made a big difference to her mobility and social life.
