A trouble shared...

... is a trouble halved. That's how the saying goes and I hope that this will be the case here 🙂 When I went to visit Mrs D this morning, I've found her troubled. She was supposed to receive a call from her doctor at a certain point during the week and her son told her to be careful and not fall asleep while waiting. She can't always hear the phone if she's asleep. She made sure she stayed awake but when the phone rang, she didn't make it in time to the phone; by the time she picked up, the call had been directed to the voicemail!!! She was terribly upset, especially that her son was convinced that she'd fallen asleep, and kept pressing her to own up to the truth 😟

I checked her phone settings, as she has been telling me for a while that she can't make it to the phone in time, and found that the phone was being redirected after 5 rings, which is a challenge for just about anybody!! I have changed the phone setting to 10 rings, which seems to be the maximum. I hope that, this way, Mrs D will be more likely to make it to the phone in time! 🤞
