The GoodGym Newcastle litter pick relay baton was passed back to me on Friday last week, and I’d like to think I ran a strong leg. The lack of litter was of course pleasing, but resulted in my half empty bin bag acting like a parachute and almost taking me off my feet on several occasions. The highlight litter item was undoubtedly an empty can of Dragon Soop - a caffeinated + alcoholic (7.5%!) drink. As dodgy combinations go, I think that sounds almost as bad as litter + footpaths, but each to their own!
