M hadn’t had a great week health wise and didn’t feel up to a visit so instead we had several chats on the phone over the weekend. Her spirits seemed to lift with successive calls - on Sunday afternoon we chatted about the London Marathon, which she’d watched on TV and I had shouted encouragement from the sidelines. I’d seen a couple of GG’ers - Vic from Lewisham and Olivia from Greenwich. M loves my brighter running kit so no doubt would have been impressed by my non GG attire.
