I went to see Mr A who has been newly referred for social visits. His wife is currently housebound due to acute pain in her legs, which has meant he has limited opportunities for working as he needs to care for her. Their daughter and two young granddaughters live with them too, and he is clearly a favourite with them. It was lovely to see. We chatted about all sorts of things, and they said they would welcome more visits in the future
