Mrs I was keen to have some runners attend and dismantle the bed her partner used to sleep in, after she recently passed away. They had long been supporters of homelessness charities and she has found one that may be able to use the bed in due course, so in the meantime it just needed to be moved to the garage. Mrs I had all the tools needed so we quickly unscrewed all the bits and soon had 3 pieces to carry the 5 min walk to the garage. On the way there we realised we'd forgotten to take pictures, this sketch should illustrate though (I'm at the back with the headboard and footer, taking the memory picture). Once the main bed frame was safely stowed, trip 2 allowed us to collect the mattress. Then with a bit of time to spare we collected up some pesky fallen leaves in the garden. As we worked and walked we chatted with Mrs I about her passions - she and her partner shared many interests, experiences and beliefs and it was clear to see the love they shared. Whilst the pain of losing a loved one is acute, we all left hoping we'd done something to at least brighten her Saturday morning a little.
