Peter, Leah, Tom and Rachel met up for our latest GoodGym Nottingham task to deliver leaflets for the Nottingham Hospitals Charity’s Big Lottery. After a very wet start to the week, it turned out to be a glorious evening and we had a very pleasant stroll around Mapperley Park posting away.

We started with 250 leaflets and by some incredible fluke, this turned out to be the perfect amount for this task – a combination of the right number of people, right number of leaflets and the perfect length of roads and driveways saw us arrive pretty much back where we started at 7.30pm having just delivered the final few leaflets. We could not have planned it any better!

Although this task didn’t appear to be as physical as some that we do, we actually walked a few hilly kilometres, down some very long driveways and up a lot of steep steps to doorways.

As we have had to postpone next Wednesday’s task, we have decided to run a social event instead, returning to the Lion Quiz (where we won last time!). Please come and join us! Sign up here.
