A la Mode

I popped along to St Anne’s Church to support Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity with their English lessons. Today we studied modal verbs, which ought to come naturally to native speakers, but can cause confusion at times, especially when there might be two similar words that may well both make sense. We shall try hard to get it right, but must not worry too much about small slips, as they would still be understood.
