On a bright chilly morning I met with Sylvie from Brixton People's Kitchen for another morning 'raid' of fresh fruit and veg from the new covent garden market.

We made our way to the market and there we met Jay who had somehow managed to not meet us and beat us there - super skills!

Despite only going to one vendor today we managed to fill up three big bags of various fresh veg. All of this is destined for an Indian themed supper club next week. Our haul included, peppers, a big sack of carrots, lots of great mushrooms and great big bunch of coriand...well it was parsley!

With our bags packed we took up a steady pace and walked down to the store at Myatt's Field. We carefully unloaded our goods, and even managed to get some prep in too! We helped to strip some leaves from the greens that we had got and Jay even showed us his chef skills cutting some peppers up!

Despite the early start we all had a lovely morning and Sylvie was as grateful as ever - a job well done!
