On a drizzly Wednesday morning Latoya and Abi met with Ms D's occupational therapist for Latoya's first ever mission and to make Ms D's home safer and more comfortable. First we rotated her mattress then moved on to the main task taking up a carpet which was a trip hazard. The carpet came up easily but the evil spiky gripping rods were more of a challenge. Thanks to Latoya's initiative (and Google...) we worked out how to use a hammer and a screwdriver to lift the spiky rods. We then tidied up and went on our way. Mission accomplished!
