Mission

A bramble a day keeps the doctor away!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Greenwich.

Mr L needed some help with the small jungle that was forming in his backyard. He wanted us to clear a small path to the back so he could access his garage where he has his mobility scooter.

We don't do small, so Gareth and I got cutting and weeding, getting rid of all the prickly brambles that had made their home in Mr L's garden, and soon cleared almost half the garden. It's a good thing we both brought gloves, otherwise we'd still be feeling those thorns!

Quite a few bags of garden waste later, we gave the whole thing a good rake, declared ourselves victorious over the jungle and celebrated with a nice cup of tea.
