The fishmongers ….it’s Deptford … a lovely mix of old school SE London, retailers and stall holders from every corner of the globe, plus some gentrification. I reminded him that I had been vegetarian since my mid 20s so wouldn’t know a salmon from a sole. He was pleased with the mackerel that I bought for him though.
