A bag of bird food in the hand...

... is better than two bags of bird food in the bush (as the saying goes, obviously). Today I learned that Mr. C. has "some pigeons", so I was tasked to also get some wild bird seeds. But do you want to know what's really funny? In German, the saying goes: A sparrow in the hand is better than a pigeon on the roof. Can't beat that.
