Good Morning Goodgymmers! Today I went to do a shop for the lovely Mr and Mrs E. They are having a rough time because they are shielding and have a son ill in hospital who would normally get them their groceries.

They told me they were a bit embarrassed about having me do their shopping, given how close they lived to the supermarket. In my opinion the concept of embarrassment is an artificial social construct that holds little meaning and rather than let societal expectations it get you down, wear it with pride! For example I am an unabashedly proud fan of possibly the worst music known to man - N'Sync. I know all the lyrics, and thought I was going to marry JC when I was 16.

Back to the mission, they handed me a really large list and off I went. Because it was a massive shop, I did briefly consider stealing(and returning!) one of the wheely shopping trolleys to transport all the shopping back, but we are goodgym and not badgym, so I decided not to sully our fine reputation and carry the shopping back in my fashionable tote bags. I managed to do their shopping in two lots which was super helpful so I could clarify some items on the list. Is anyone else as terrified as I am, when someone asks for yogurt on their list. I have had two mission where people have asked for yogurts and then been completely overwhelmed by the 24 (I counted them) different types of yogurt to people!

I went back with my first shop, and got a brief glimpse of Mr E's son on facetime who seemed to be in good spirits! Hope you get well soon! After getting the confirmation that I had brought everything, I went back for the second shop. Each time, Mr and Mrs E seemed to be shocked at how much I could carry. Not my first rodeo Mr and Mrs E!

We had a brief chat about how Mrs E's cat's seemed completely unaware that they were in a pandemic and still chose to be picky jerks about their food (my words not hers!) I sauntered off home enjoying the beautiful weather we are having.

Stay safe goodgymmers!
