Just three weeks now till the clocks go forward and our sessions are illuminated once more. Winter's ticked past quick enough, you lot have beavered away in the dark and got so much done with no qualms, the reward is looming.

Gareth, our current innocuous sounding storm, whipped strong westerly winds in, nothing our traditional warm up couldn't quell. "What's your show-stopping meal?" was this week's question, and as always it showed the variety at GGN: Ramen to Carbonara, Bibimbap to Curry, Pies to Spring Rolls, Lasagna to Stir-fry. We need to sort a Come Dine With Me eve, reckon a Charlotte-Rosie could own the sarcastic narrator voice over.

Down a quiet canal and to our destination, with some tough graft awaiting us. Tyre moving, log shifting, palette sorting and mulch redistribution. A real strength session and a great workout. Our hill reps to finish the session were executed aggressively and enthusiastically. There may have been some reluctance pre run, but when the whistle goes - BOOM - that all changes. 6 - 8 short reps, reacquainting yourselves with top-end effort.

We got our shot '7' shot, representing that we are the 7th GG, all over the country, from Barnsley to Birmingham, Cardiff to Camden, Hownslow to Huddersfield and Newcastle to Norwich... other areas are taking their numbered snaps, whilst quietly grafting away and propping up their communities. Good to know we're part of something.

That's my lot for now, next week we're at cody dock -sign up here and the week after we're in Abbey Gardens (old task returned) sign up here
