75 years, 7.5 miles!

On VE Day, I did some shopping for Mr and Mrs L, who I've connected with through Age UK. They are currently in the vulnerable age category so I collected some essentials from Tescos to keep them topped up! It was lovely to stand and chat for a while, talk about their garden, but also about their childhood experiences of Bath during the Blitz. Helped me really understand the significance of the day and what it was like to live through an experience like that. I managed to complete my 7.5 miles to celebrate 75 years since the end of the war through a combination of walking and a running post food drop off. A memorable day.
