This morning, 3 GoodGym runners went to Ms D's home to try and move some furniture for her.

Ms D has been given some support from OT teams, who asked if GoodGym runners could rearrange her living room so that she could sit in a more appropriate chair and also see her TV more clearly.

Sam, Scott and I set about unplugging the TV and everything (cutting short the film adaptation of that alluded to in report title - quite a relief!) and tried the proposed layout. It didn't quite work!

We tried pretty much every combination and arrangement possible (giving Ms D's daughter some prime opportunities to clean up where the furniture had been), but due to a tight doorway and some bulky bits of furniture, there wasn't another option that would be safe and accessible for Ms D and here family. We eventually put everything back where it'd started and plugged everything back in.

Not the perfect outcome, but perhaps further down the line GoodGym runners will be able to do a bit more to help out if some more space can be made. In any case, it gave us quite the workout, and saved Ms D's family the stress of trying this out on their own. Good job, gang!
