OK so technically it was 11 green bin bags and a wheelie bin full of garden waste...

2 GG York runners (Leanne & Mel) ran to Fulford to help Mr C tame his unruly front garden. After a lovely welcome chat we went to pick up the tools from the back garden and got stuck in!!

We encountered dandelions, brambles and ivy (oh my!) as well as nettles and various weeds but armed with a variety of tools and our bare hands we battled through and uncovered large parts of the front garden and in just under 2 hours we filled a garden waste bin and 11 green bags!

We went for the destructive gardening technique with a plan to return with other GoodGymers at a later date to neaten things up and tackle the back garden.

Mr C was delighted with the progress and is looking forward to another visit sometime soon!
