09:00This is a mixed ability simultaneous 5k and 10k race through the challenging and beautiful terrain of Alexandra Palace and Highgate Wood. Its aim is to raise funds for the Family Centre at Highgate Primary School.
Mixed ability means that there will be less experienced runners who may need guidance from marshals. The route is hilly, trail-like, and may be muddy. It will also be busy - this is not a closed-road event. Runners will have been warned of the risks and advised about hydration.
