Weeding and hedge trimming for disabled Dr R (wk3)
Dr R will be able to enjoy his garden and it will relieve some of the burden off his family members who care for him.
Location
Confidential location in Merton. The address will be sent to you when the mission is confirmed.
Date and time
13:00 - 14:30Wimbledon Guild have asked us to help Mr R with his garden. He would like some help with his back garden which has become overgrown and the bushes need trimming. His front garden could also do with de-weeding. There is side access and he has a variety of tools, both manual and electric. There is no garden waste bin but the referrer has told him that he will need to arrange for a family member to take it away.
Following a spinal cord injury Dr R is now disabled and a wheelchair user and apart from medical appointments is pretty much confined to a microenvironment on the first floor of his house. His family care for him but they have their own jobs, children, lives etc and the garden has got overgrown.
GoodGym has listed this mission for one to three GoodGymers. Three GoodGymers can attend together, but the mission will still go ahead with just one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you would prefer not to attend this task on your own, please email missioncontrol@goodgym.org as soon as possible. We will then make sure the task isn’t confirmed unless a second GoodGymer is also available to join you.
