Wednesday evening group sessions are all about coming together as a big team and heading out together to a practical task out in the community.

This week we're heading to the riverside Stockingstone Meadow to have another go at removing the invasive Goldenrod plants that have infested this site

We'll work as a group to pull up the distinctive plants and make space for a greater diversity of native wildflower species. The site has seen massive improvement thanks to previous efforts in past years, but we need to keep going to finish it off!

We'll meet up at 6:45 at the outdoor stage opposite the Hat Factory on Bute Street, where we say hi to eachother and warm up for the run.

Walkers are welcome. We might send you off a bit early so we arrive at similar times but the task isn't very far from the start point so it'll be fine.
