We're Open Christmas Party @ Coffee 1!
To bring some Christmas cheer to Sanctuary Seekers from across the world
Swindon City of Sanctuary needs our help at Christmas! GoodGym Swindon has been invited to help set up and help out at their Christmas Party on Thursday 19th December from 6pm to 9pm at Coffee 1! Can’t commit for three hours? No problem! Just come along for the time YOU can make!
'We're Open' is a weekly social at Coffee 1 every Thursday evening, which offers a relaxed get-together with free coffee and games and occasional live music too. On Thursday 19th December, Goodgym'ers are invited to 'decorate the halls with boughs of holly', or perhaps bring a little taste of home in the form of Christmas food to share. Most importantly, they would love it if you could share one of your Christmas traditions or games with We're Open regulars - sanctuary seekers from across the world (and Swindonians too!) They look forward to welcoming you...the more the merrier (it is a party, after all!).
We're Open is organised by Swindon City of Sanctuary - fostering a culture of welcome, inclusion and support for everyone in Swindon, with a focus on those seeking sanctuary. For further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Helping out at We're Open is a chance to meet some lovely people in the community, some that may want to know more about GoodGym! So don't forget to wear your GoodGym tops everyone!
This is a Community Mission, which does NOT require a DBS Check or a formal group run, but if you feel like running to Coffee 1 that day for some extra fitness fun, why not?!

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
