Date and time
09:00 - 10:30York and Scarborough Teaching Hospital has asked if we can help Mr J settle into his new home by unpacking some boxes for him. He has boxes that he has been unable to unpack since moving in. Mr J is an amputee and registered blind and has been unable to reach the boxes and see to sort them. He uses a wheelchair.
The boxes contain general house moving items such as paperwork, household items and clothing (for storage in built in wardrobe. The items can be identified and Mr J will let you know where these should be placed or retained in their box awaiting their final destination. 2 GoodGymers have attended and made a start but have fed back that there is more to do. They said the task is better suited to 2 GoodGymers.
The emptied boxes can be placed in the kitchen and/or lounge and again Mr J can direct you.
Mr J is only available in the mornings.
