Who this task will support
Muscular Dystrophy UK (with Bidwells)
Our Bidwells Cambridge 10k race is an annual event. Support 3,000 runners to have an amazing 10k experience as they help to fund groundbreaking research and life-changing support for people living with muscle wasting conditions. Every entry raises funds to help change the future of muscle wasting conditions. The Bidwells Town and Gown 10k series has already raised over £2 million. We simply couldn’t put these events on without brilliant volunteers.

The Oxford Town and Gown 10k race is a firm favourite with some of our members.

This year we have been asked to volunteer to help support the runners - we will be helping at the start and finish lines - handing out medals and drinks and other goodies.

We will be provided with refreshments throughout our “shift” and all volunteers will be send a free place for the 2027 race as a thank you.

I need to collate our details and send to the organisers 2 weeks before the event so please sign up by Friday 24th April (sooner if possible!).
