Discover WellingThe Great British Spring Clean is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign. Each year, more than 400,000 volunteers around the UK tidy up and clear litter from streets, parks and beaches.
This year we have been invited to join Discover Welling on their ‘Tour of Welling’, a series of spring cleaning events in different places around the area.
Grab some gloves, head out for some fresh air, meet some new people, boost your step count, and help the planet, all while making the town a wee bit nicer for local people.
Please bring gloves. Litter pickers and bin bags will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Today's Tour of Welling outing is a lunchtime litter pick starting from the shopping parade in Wrotham Road.
