Blimey!! A chilly morning in Bath for our starter session to st Phillips and st James church in Odd Down to paint the railings at The Manna House youth centre. A short run for The trusty four today of 1.5k.

Big shout out to Matt who joined us from GG Bristol but not before running from Bristol to Bath, doing the Bath skyline park run and then hot footing it to us ready for group run, think he was relieved this was super short today. I think it's safe to say he loves to run or Dave let him down. Rosie also ran across after Parkrun and Sophie was happy to finally be able to join us for a short run, although she did run back home after.

Andy was waiting to greet us at the task with everything needed to get the job done, so after a session of raised press-ups to get those arms nicely prepared we got to it, giving the railings a coat of Hammerite. I have to say it was absolutely freezing despite its sheltered location, so as you can imagine we worked at lightning speed and got the job done in 45 minutes. We were rewarded with TEA and BISCUITS and I can safely say a certain person didn't eat them all today. We have photographic proof of the one that got away.

I think we were all eager to get into the warm, so took the very short dash back to base. The biggest challenge ... The Pun and Not the Run.

Thank you! lovely people for coming along this morning.
