School Gardening Area
As part of our sustainability plans we are looking to help students and parents to understand how they can grow their own fruit and vegetables. Once the area is created this will be used with the students through their curriculum and as part of a gardening club, With the Parents we currently run a variety of support groups for parents and self sufficiency / gardening would be added to this .

We have been asked by the school to help turnover an area for setting up a sustainable garden project.

For Part 1, we will be removing the current rotten sleeper beds and furniture to make space and then weeding the area and cutting back all the overgrown areas.

Bring gardening gloves if you have them. Tools will be provided on site, with waste going to the school bin area ~75 m away from the clearing site.

Part 2 in May will be to install new beds and garden furniture.
