Four sprightly runners jogged down to Cody Dock, quickly becoming a soggy four. The lashings of rain was of a heavy violent nature, but no one whispered a complaint, we just kept running towards destination dockland.

After some banter on arrival, huddling under a sheltered bench and twisting water out of our waterproofs, we began to take instruction from Basia, our affable and humorous host.

Cody Dock is going to be attached to the grid, for that they need create space for the new electric supply. We cleared out the shed that's earmarked for this new stream of electrons. Crates, cupboard-y things, bat boxes, poles, trolleys and gigantic cases were moved, some to the skip, some to a tidier more logical position.

Once we claimed completion, Hilary whipped out one of her incredible vegan cakes, Graham cut really tiny slices, but we let him, because it was his birthday cake. We all proceeded to have about 73 slices each, an excellent experience it was.

Clouds had migrated when we left, so an easy jog back in the sunset light to conclude a beautiful evening of jogging, chatting and chipping in.
