Last night's task we joined the (wonderful) Friends of Mile End Meadows to help them to cut back an overgrown section of raspberry canes, ready for a new crop to sprout.

Our last task with FMEM was last summer when we spend time tending to the area, picking delicious fruits and sprucing the greenery ready for local residents to enjoy.

The sun was out and we took a scenic main road route down to the meadows which is set back like a little haven amongst the houses.

We are already looking forward to another task later in the season to pick the crops of fruit!.
