9 of Isligton's finest sanded the Arc Centre and ran 4km!

Thank you all for coming out on a wet bank holiday, lovely to have you along! Welcome to Selam who runs with Harringey and Barnet, and came to join us for our Easter special.

In the news this week:

  1. The GG Olympics have been announced for 30th June at Parliament Hill Track - we want a strong team out there! Get practicing your egg & spoon technique!
  2. It's GG Monthly Drinks this Thursday - come along :)

We were doing GoodGym by name last night by first doing the GOOD and then the GYM. We met at the Arc Centre (as the Arsenal Hub was closed for Easter), a team of three took over the community centre around 8 months and have really made a big impact in the community - providing activities and services for the locals.

Our task this evening was to sand down the wood work in the meeting room, offices, hallways and more. Armed with sand paper and some gloves we got to work. With Aidan's party playlist playing and dark chocolate hobnobs handed out we made a huge impact in 40 minutes!

Now for the running part - after warming up we headed east along the canal as the Spring sun was setting, then bounced north to De Beauvior Square for a fitness session - x3 90' - accelerating through the Gears in the last 30 seconds! Nice!

Heading home via the backstreets I got a bit confused about squares but all was grand.

Thanks for coming guys, sign up to next here where we'll be helping St Lukes Community Centre.

PB out.
