Wandle Rivver Community Garden
The Wandle River Community Garden (formerly the Paul Bowness Memorial Garden) is a volunteer-run space located next to Merton Abbey Mills in South London. Organized by Bee Creative Art Hub and Wandle Heritage Charity, it features eco-friendly wildlife habitats, a children's toy library, and a book-swap.

Note that the session starts at 7pm. There is no official group run this week but you are welcome to add a walk/run/cycle beforehand from any location and invite others to join you - best to do this via the GoodGym Merton Whatsapp group.

For this session we will be helping with digging a plot along the River Wandle close to the main community garden area, which will be used for planting with plants for natural dyes as well as other gardening jobs.

Bring gardening gloves if you have some and do let us know if you are unable to do the more physical jobs as lighter jobs can be arranged.

Be sure to head for the what3words location rather than the Abbey Mills band stand as this is a short distance from the community garden location. On arrival Zoe or Ieva will be on hand to brief us.
