Activ GardensYou're invited. Come along and join us at Ipswich GoodGym! ๐ฅณ
Want to do something useful with your exercise? GoodGym is no ordinary gym. We're a group of people who get fit by doing good - helping out local charities and community groups with physical jobs like shifting compost and planting trees.
What are we doing? We will be heading to ActivGardens - the People's Community Garden (Maidenhall Allotments, Halifax Rd, Ipswich, IP2 8RE) to help out with some garden maintenance. This may involve digging, weeding, etc so please bring gloves if you have some ๐งค
Why are we doing this? ActivLives are a local independent charity based in Ipswich who aim to keep people active, connected, and involved with their local community. The People's Community Garden is an outdoor community resource, where people of all ages and abilities are able to come together to develop and maintain an inspiring and welcoming green space.
Where are we meeting? We will meet at the allotment at 9am.
If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments section or email me at natasha@goodgym.org. Looking forward to seeing you there!
