Friends of Sackville GardensWe have been asked by Friends of Sackville Gardens to come along as a group to help out in the park, close to Canal St and home to an Alan Turing memorial statue plus other landmarks.
They meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month so we are going along on Saturday 11th October, 10am-12pm. The meeting location is inside the park on Sackville St or using What3Words.
They've got a big project on to bring this park back to life. There'll be new planting in all the borders. Beds need clearing first.
No experience needed. Tasks range from light to something to get your back into! All equipment provided.
